Chronique d'une rupture annoncée.
dis donc encore une de ces périodes où j'avais oublié que j'avais un blog. d'un côté ça me rassure, ça doit vouloir dire que j'étais occupée dans la 'vraie' vie.
you know what's worse than a surprise break-up ? yep, knowing that the break-up is happening in 11 weeks and 1 day. and i'm going through a trial separation right now and turns out, not fun either! i hear it's 'expiration dating'. Paris hasn't been treating me that well, of course all i've been doing is lonely suburb to ugly campus via stinky train, so maybe it doesn't count. i had to switch from grande skinny caramel macchiato to tall latte, and ps, if you can't afford starbucks, where the hell do you study ?? you don't is probably the answer.
alright we are now done with the winy part of this program, there has to be a reason why people think living in france is awesome, and i will find it. last finals this friday, i'm still trying to make it to the christmas party, and a girls' day out is always exciting. i might never get back to speaking french though, i just like myself better in english.

oh come on, you're starting to sound like those American people who think it must be awful to live in France, especially when you've had a taste of the US - blah, it just makes me cringe D: .
But I can understand your feelings, though I'm sure it's not so much about the country than it is about the things you've done and the people you've met :) and if you have to go back, there or anywhere else, you probably will, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Life is as boring or exciting as you want it to be.
Haha, ok I'm done ~ remember we're going to Ladurée today? Isn't that totally worth being in France?? ;)

you know what i agree, it's not abt starbucks at all. it's always been about people (not people magazine). but i'm semi-back for those 3 weeks and i was lonely and working too much and it started to suck a lot. and i do miss new york, just like i missed paris when i arrived in DC. i'm entitled to some transition time, it doesn't mean i'm not moving forward, or to spain :) and as my kid says, 'leslie you're going to a big fancy school!'
